Welcome to my blog! A little bit about me: I recently graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where I received my B.S. in Neuroscience, with minors in Psychology, Chemistry and Biology. I have always loved to write — but science-related courses didn’t exactly allow for abundant self-expression all the time.
And so my blog was born (after many months of deliberation and encouragement from my closest friends). I started this blog in the summer of 2017 as a way to share thoughts and topics that are close to my heart. Words can be powerful, for good and for evil. Words have a way of connecting us to others who might be going through a similar situation or heartbreak — words, especially when written, can become an unspoken bond between hearts that need the reassurance that they are not alone. When you don’t have the words, I hope that what I write can offer that unspoken bond. My hope is that something in my words will touch your heart. My hope is that you’ll learn a little bit about God’s heart for you and for His people.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
